ok is daoud’s ACT debut: a genre-blurring jazz album of contradictions, where humor masks sadness and resilience hides behind the word “ok.”

With ok, his ACT debut, French trumpeter daoud delivers a quiet manifesto shaped by contradiction, collapse and reluctant acceptance. Blending jazz with hip-hop, rock and Afrobeat as emotional textures, the album balances humor and melancholy, chaos and tenderness. It reveals what hides behind saying ‘ok’ when things are quietly breaking.
