A carefully-crafted tapestry of jazz-rock instrumental fusion, solo acoustic/electric compositions and flat-out impact.

The longtime high-powered sideman bassist Bryan Beller – who usually specializes in supporting ex-Frank Zappa guitarists Steve Vai and Mike Keneally, takes a different in course in his debut solo album View, a carefully-crafted tapestry of jazz-rock instrumental fusion, solo acoustic/electric compositions, and flat-out impact. A true, thematic album in the classic sense, View strongly establishes Beller’s compositional voice: Featuring guitarist Mike Keneally, drummers Joe Travers (Zappa Plays Zappa) and Toss Panos (Larry Carlton, Robben Ford), and recorded by Nick D’Virgilio (Spock’s Beard, Tears For Fears).
