Cine-Magique is a multilingual, minimalist blend of jazz, pop and folk, balacning sweetness with melancholy and mystery.

Cine-Magique bare bones production keeps Frost’s gorgeous and versatile voice front and centre. Whether she’s purring seductively in French or belting it out over Spaghetti Western riffs on tracks like Secrets, her voice weaves a spell over the listener. This is material that lies cozily between the Franco-op pleasures of Karen Ann, the torch songs of Stina Nordenstam and the sweeping deser dramas of Lhasa De Sala.
