Exquisite performances on grand piano document a new phase of Halpern’s creativity. This audiophile recording showcases inspiring improvised compositions that came through with melodic themes that begin and end many songs. Special guest artist Michael Manring adds lyrical melodies on bass. ‘First Kiss’ and ‘Now and Zen’ add rhythmic grooves as a bonus.
