Dictionary of Printmaking Terms

Printmaking is a little bit mysterious; it seems like there are so many technical terms and so little to guide a new practitioner. Slim but highly informative, with descriptions of all the most important processes and tools, the Dictionary of Printmaking Terms is a very handy studio companion indeed.

Topics covered in this book include: types of paper, many methods of relief and intaglio printmaking, editioning and displaying prints, and the printmaking cultures from various parts of the world. Black-and-white linocuts illustrate key entries.
