Bread Poems: My Quarantine in 18 Breads (Katie King)

In Flagstaff, Arizona – right off Rt. 66, there lives a bakery selling bread out of a filing cabinet. The crust implores you to vote, that black lives matter, and to eat the rich.

Katie King’snew book Bread Poems tells the story of this unique dough made during stay-at-home orders of spring 2020. Something to lighten the mood of the sometimes heavy conversations of balancing our freshly unbalanced lives.
