Jesus, Where Are You?

Children today face many tough social challenges, such as lying, loneliness, stealing, bullying, forgiveness, and many more. For each challenge, Lee Palencar uses stories to help children think about the particular issue, reflect on Scripture, apply appropriate vocabulary words, read and think about some pertinent questions to bring the lesson into their hearts, and then color an image and finish a prayer to Jesus. Throughout, the emphasis is on learning how to talk and to listen to Jesus a technique that is sure to lead to a lifetime of prayer. And each chapter suggests a positive solution to a problem: When You re Lonely…Make a Friend, When You re Afraid…be Confident, and much more. With its mixture of practical ideas and spiritual nourishment, this book will appeal to children and catechists alike.Lee Palencar
