I have never heard music like his, music that draws upon folk music but instead of treating or adapting it, enters fully into the spirit of it, relives every moment of it inwardly. In my eyes Mihly Dresch is an intuitive artist who experiences the world vulnerable and defenceless, but the roots of his work go so deep as to make it unassailable.
