The Mike Allen Quartet has teamed up with Canadian trombone legend Hugh Fraser to create a set of beautiful, swinging music that gives each musician an opportunity to shine. Whether it’s exciting solo work, intimate accompaniment or fiery horn lines that cut through bluesy grooves, there is a depth to this music that is reminiscent of the classic jazz albums of the 1960s.
